  • The One Decent Thing by Eliot Grayson 🍰🌈
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Hidden in Darkness by Alice Winters 🍰🌈
⭐⭐⭐ – I wasn’t as taken with this book as I was other books by this author. Someone suggested a buddy read of book 2 though, so I decided to carry on.
  • A Light in the Darkness and Deception in Darkness by Alice Winters 🍰🌈🤞🐾
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I’m glad I continued on because I did end up liking this series.
  • Dancing in Darkness by Alice Winters 🍰🌈🌱
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – There’s a cute little novella with the series I couldn’t say no to reading.

Elven Doom (Death Before Dragons, #4)Our Dreams at Dusk: Shimanami Tasogare, Vol. 1 (しまなみ誰そ彼 Shimanami Tasogare, #1)A Shifter's Curse (Rouen Chronicles, #1)Take It Down A NotchClap When You Land

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – This one I picked up on a whim at work. I ordered it unsure how I’d feel and it finally arrived so I was checking to make sure it really is a YA book when I ended up reading the whole thing. I’m looking forward to book 2.
  • A Shifter’s Curse by Raven Steele & Ava Mason 🍰🐾🤞
⭐⭐⭐ – This was a hard one to get through. If it wasn’t a buddy read I might not have pushed through. It got better in the end at least.. I won’t be continuing though because I heard their personalities don’t get better.
  • Take it Down a Notch by Weston Parker 🍰🤞
    ⭐⭐⭐
  • Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo 🎧🤞🌈
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Wow, what a book!

  • Wicked Wings by Keri Arthur 🤞
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I know, Finally! This series is starting to drag though… yes this one is good, but I thought there would be more personal conflict… it should happen in the next one though.
  • Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman 🎧👑
⭐⭐⭐ – This was entertaining, but I am glad I listened to it. I think if I read it I wouldn’t have liked it as much.

Once Upon a Time (Calluvia's Royalty, #3)Behind His Eyes (Jetty Beach, #1)One Crazy Week (Jetty Beach, #2)Ariel, Always Enough (Iron Orchids, #1)All Boys Aren't Blue

  • Once Upon a Time by Alessandra Hazard 🌈🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Caught up in this series and I”m looking forward to future releases.
  • Behind His Eyes One Crazy Week by Claire Kingsley 🍰🎮
⭐⭐⭐- I started Jetty Beach! I’m not a huge fan… but I want to read one more book before giving up on the series and moving onto Miles Family.
  • Ariel, Always Enough by Danielle Norman 🍰👑🎮
⭐⭐ – Read this because I needed a MC romance and this did not work for me.
  • All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M. Johnson 🎧👑🌈
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Amazing. Absolutely stunning. I wanted to read a new release on audio, this seemed good and short and it blew me away and started me on my audiobook binge haha.
I do love seeing my mix of romance and other random books on this list. It is part of the reason I love making this post.

Happy Endings (Demon Magic #1)Familiar Beginnings (Happy Endings, #2)The Hitman's Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love (The Hitman's Guide, #1)The Hitman's Guide to Staying Alive Despite Past Mistakes (The Hitman's Guide #2)Melt for You (Slow Burn, #2)

  • The Hitman’s Guide duet by Alice Winters 🍰🌈
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Okay, not my favorite duet by her, but I was definitely entertained reading these.
  • Melt For You by J.T. Geissinger 🍰🎧🎮
⭐⭐⭐.5 – I will admit, it took a while for me to warm up to this one, probably didn’t help that I started it on audio and wasn’t a fan. It ended up being funny though and I mostly liked it… maybe I’ll read book 3.

Happily Ever Ninja (Knitting in the City, #5)Dating-ish (Knitting in the City, #6)Orientation Week (Breakbattle Academy #0.5)The Plan (Breakbattle Academy #1)The Execution (Breakbattle Academy #2)

  • Happily Ever Ninja by Penny Reid 🎧

  • Dating-ish by Penny Reid 🎧
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 — Honestly, didn’t like Matt as much as my first time around. He tied with Alex in my mind, really? Nah, Alex is #1 haha (although now I’m listening to Marriage of Inconvenience and he might be tied with Dan the Security Man~)
  • Orientation Week by Ruby Vincent 🌱🍰🐾
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
  • The Plan by Ruby Vincent 🍰🐾👑
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I read these two for a buddy read and was reeeeallly liking them. Also able to use this for a challenge to read a book with a purple cover!

  • How to Vex a Vampire and How to Elude a Vampire by Alice Winters 🍰🌈
⭐⭐⭐.5 – I did enjoy the second one more than first, so I’m glad I continued the series. It is so, so funny.
  • Highball Rush by Claire Kingsley 🍰🤞
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I finished the series! I will say, I was actually wrong on the bad guy! And so much else… I’m glad I finished.
  • The Last Vampire: Book One by R.A. Stefan & Jaelynn Woole 🍰
⭐⭐⭐ – I had such high hopes for this one…. it wasn’t horrible, but I don’t like it enough to continue 😞

Unearthed (Death Seeker, #1)Ninja At First Sight (Knitting in the City, #4.75)Touch (Selfish Myths, #1)My Lady Quicksilver (London Steampunk, #3)

  • Unearthed by Cecy Robinson 🤞
⭐⭐⭐ – This one started good, but I quickly lost interested… I’m surprised I finished. Such a bummer, since I had such high hopes for it.
  • Ninja at First Sight by Penny Reid 🌱🎧👑🤞
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 – I am slowly re-reading Knitting in the City and decided to try the audiobook out of this one. I really liked it! I seemed to have forgotten how much I loved Greg~ I’m excited to re-read the next one too… maybe I’ll even listen to it. 😉
  • Touch by Natalia Jaster 🤞🍰
⭐⭐.5 – I was so excited to read this one which makes my rating so sad. I just didn’t like the characters nor did I understand their relationship progression. I wanted to throttle Love most of the time.
  • My Lady Quicksilver by Bec McMaster 🤞👑
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 – I picked this one up thanks to the TBR Lottery and I”m so glad I did. I forgot how much I like this series!

Stud Muffin (Donner Bakery, #2)A Destiny of Dragons (Tales From Verania, #2)That Alien Feeling (Calluvia's Royalty, #1)That Irresistible Poison (Calluvia's Royalty, #2)

  • Stud Muffin by Jiffy Kate 🎧👑
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Another audiobook from Penny Reid’s world and it fits with a challenge needing a character in food service. I liked the narrators and hopefully I’ll move onto the next book soon.
  • A Destiny of Dragons by TJ Klune 🤞🌈
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 – This book had me laughing to the point of tears within pages. TJ Klune… can he write anything bad?
  • That Alien Feeling and That Irresistible Poison by Alessandra Hazard 🍰🌈
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I needed some fluff and fell into this series. It isn’t the best ever and I’m sure there are all kinds of problems, but I honestly cannot stop reading…

Stolen by an Alien series by Amanda Milo 👑🌱🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – One novella, one worked for a challenge, and 2 re-reads. This is actually the end of a huge alien romance binge I was on last weekend. After going to the grocery store I was so stressed out I needed fluffy and I stumbled upon The E.T. Guy which hit the spot. It was a huge spiral from there.
Anyhow, I’m glad I gave this series another try even if it is weird to me that they aren’t moving forward in time. They all interconnect and take place around the same time, except for Craved by an Alien which moves us forward…only for the next two books to be back to the beginning… BUT they are funny (albeit dark).

Prison Princess (Paranormal Prison)The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Mackenzies & McBrides, #1)Deadly Games (The Emperor's Edge, #3)Tru Blue (The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor, #1)Faire Protector (The Faire Folk #2)Choosing Theo (Clecanian, #1)

  • Prison Princess by Coralee June & Rebecca Royce 🌱🍰
    ⭐⭐.5 – I don’t know why I keep reading this series… most of the books aren’t great.
  • The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley 🤞
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Look! I’m not over historical romances — I just haven’t been liking the ones I’ve been reading~! This is exciting for me ^_^
  • Deadly Games by Lindsay Buroker
⭐⭐⭐.5 – I think book 2 was better although a lot of people think this was better??? I thought the ending redeemed most of it. I’ll totally keep reading because I have to know what is going to happen.
  • Tru Blue by Melissa Foster 👑🤞🎮
⭐⭐⭐⭐I read this one to fulfill a MC prompt, but it isn’t actually -_-” so I need to find another book… this was cute though.
  • Faire Protector by Madeleine Ribbon 🍰🌈
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I was hesitating about continuing this series, but I’m glad. It is sweet.
  • Choosing Theo by Victoria Aveline 🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Annnnd went back to an alien romance hahaha. This will be a fun series.

»Did Not Finish

Dragon's Fire (Blood Prophecy, #1 To #5)

I got over 60% into Dragon’s Fire… it is over 500 pages! I really tried!! But yeah everything about it was annoying me.

How to Vex a Vampire (VRC: Vampire Related Crimes, #1)

I’m 40% into How to Vex a VampireI really like urban fantasy where humans know supernaturals exist and work with them. Finn works with vampires and his partner (they are cops) wants to eat him, but Finn can’t seem to stop teasing him — I love it!

Other News

Books: No official Weekly TBR list, so I’ve been letting myself mood read. I’m wrangling my library books into shape — I only have 4 books out now and I have a week to read them haha.

Watched: I have caught up in Bob’s Burgers AND Brooklyn 99. I started We Bare Bears… I’m not sure why I didn’t pick up The Good Place yet. I finished season 2.

Reviews: 0… I’m back over 120 books to review *sigh*
I just haven’t been feeling it. Not totally sure why though…

What am I listening to?
Strangely, I’ve mostly kept my music off. I mean, when I do listen it is the same ol’ stuff, but I’ve been listening to music less as I tend to wait for songs to end before I leave my computer and it is more distracting than inspiring right now.

Other: More Skyrim time!!!
Also, it snowed??? Snow in April… They told me it would happen, but I was still shocked to see it.

Today

How to Vex a Vampire (VRC: Vampire Related Crimes, #1)Highball Rush (Bootleg Springs #6)

I’m dying to get back to How to Vex a Vampire. If I like the ending, I might read the sequel next.
Highball Rush is on my Currently Reading Shelf because I NEED to read it ASAP. I want to finish this series so I can move onto this author’s other books.

Besides those I’m not sure what I want to read today… it will probably be random and I can only hope it is on my TBR already haha.

What are you doing on this lovely Sunday?
