My Top… Books of 2019

My last New Years post. After this, I’ll try getting the blog to a normal schedule. Hopefully posting 5 times a week. Anyhow….

Here it is: my top ten books of the year post. LOL just kidding. 🤣🤣🤣😂😭

I poured over each monthly wrap up, looking at books– some I’d even forgotten I’d read this year! It was brutal, and out of about 110 books I narrowed it down to 52 books… for someone who read over 600 books in a year, I think this is doing good (less than 10% of the books I read).

So, instead I made multiple lists!!

I made a Middle Grade & Young Adult list, Graphic Novels list, and Adult list
And no duplicates  — so yes, this is my way of showing off more books.

Just to clarify, these are books I read this year, not necessarily books published this year!

My life needs a positive change this year. And as for reading goals/challenges… well, I dropped them in 2019. I think I made a few too specific, put too much stress on doing too much, and I’m also blaming my lifestyle for losing my motivation to work on the goals — I’ll do a wrap up of my 2019 challenges in another post.

My 10 Most Read Authors of 2019

Now that Christmas has passed, it is time for my new year posts! This series will last about 2 weeks and will encompass stats/info from 2019 and also my future plans for 2020).

Today I’ll be sharing the authors I read the most of in 2019.

2019 is the first year I used a reading log and it has been a great help and eye-opener for my reading. I plan on using one in 2020 because of how much I like looking at the number. Counting the amount of authors and the frequency of me reading them wasn’t even something I set out to do at the beginning of the year, but here we are!
