My last New Years post. After this, I’ll try getting the blog to a normal schedule. Hopefully posting 5 times a week. Anyhow….
Here it is: my top ten books of the year post. LOL just kidding. 🤣🤣🤣😂😭
I poured over each monthly wrap up, looking at books– some I’d even forgotten I’d read this year! It was brutal, and out of about 110 books I narrowed it down to 52 books… for someone who read over 600 books in a year, I think this is doing good (less than 10% of the books I read).
So, instead I made multiple lists!!
I made a Middle Grade & Young Adult list, Graphic Novels list, and Adult list
And no duplicates — so yes, this is my way of showing off more books.
Just to clarify, these are books I read this year, not necessarily books published this year!

Time for a tag revolving around the new year!! I found it thanks to Emily @ Embuhleeliest who posted her answers just when I was looking for a post to write up today ^_^
This tag was created by Heather @bookables. Continue reading “New Year’s Book Tag 2019”
One of my favorite posts of the year! I love sharing and talking about future book releases. Since this one is for the year it is a LONG post, but I tried to keep it down to only 5 books a month and only adding commentary on a few. I couldn’t help myself ^_^
Hey all! 😎
I wanted to share my goals and resolutions for next year. Here’s the thing, I usually don’t set life resolutions– I just let them drop, but this time around I think I’ll be trying to also write them down and place them somewhere I’ll notice them often. My life needs a positive change this year. And as for reading goals/challenges… well, I dropped them in 2019. I think I made a few too specific, put too much stress on doing too much, and I’m also blaming my lifestyle for losing my motivation to work on the goals — I’ll do a wrap up of my 2019 challenges in another post.
Now that Christmas has passed, it is time for my new year posts! This series will last about 2 weeks and will encompass stats/info from 2019 and also my future plans for 2020).
Today I’ll be sharing the authors I read the most of in 2019.
2019 is the first year I used a reading log and it has been a great help and eye-opener for my reading. I plan on using one in 2020 because of how much I like looking at the number. Counting the amount of authors and the frequency of me reading them wasn’t even something I set out to do at the beginning of the year, but here we are! Merry Christmas, y’all!
I hope everything is going well for you all, or that you can leave your judgmental family members behind soon.
For my last day of Blogmas I will share the top 8 books/series I wish were under my tree– 4 re-reads and 4 I’ve yet to read.
Since my fiance and I aren’t exchanging gifts this year, this is more of a wishlist ^_^

I did this tag last year and thought I’d do it again this year too because… well, why not? Last year, I found it on Embuhleeliest, who runs an awesome blog that you should totally check out if you haven’t already. This tag was created by Sam @SamsNonsense.
Alrighty, let’s get to the questions!
