Anonymous Noise, Volumes 10 – 18 by Ryoko Fukuyama 💥
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I finished and I’m so glad I kept on it! I complained about the angsty romance the entire time I read it only to get to the end and realize along with the main characters that it isn’t about the romance… it is about growing up and coming into ourselves. UGH SO GOOD!
A Sign of Affection volumes 1 and 2 by Suu Morishita 💥🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 – Yes this series so far is on KU! It also features a deaf main character — a first in manga for me. It is sweet and I can’t wait to see where it will go.
That Wolf-Boy is Mine!, Vol. 1 by Yoko Nogiri 💥🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Another KU book although the rest of the series is not 😢.
The Water Dragon’s Bride, Vol. 1 by Rei Toma 💥
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – SO GOOD! I’m dying to get my hands on the next books.
Nora Jacobs series by Jackie May 🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – For the most part I really loved this series. So much, I even started reading other books by these authors haha.

⭐⭐⭐ – Pretty good for a novella.
Shayne Davies 1 🌱 and 2 by Jackie May 🍰
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – More UF than PNR which I wasn’t expecting, but still a fun read.
The Hitman’s Guide to Tying the Knot Without Getting Shot by Alice Winters 🍰🌈⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Back to Leland and Jackson! Now they are married ^_^ I hope if there are more books in this series that they follows Cassel too!
Failed Princesses, Vol. 1 by Ajiichi 💥🌈

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Totally wishing I had a bigger kitchen and baking supplies because O M G! I wanna make cookies hahaha.
Caged Kitten by Rhea Watson 🍰✌
⭐⭐⭐.5 – I had been waiting for this one for a long time and it was… okay. I’m not a huge fan of prison settings which might have effected it.
Fun Home by Alison Bechdel 💥👑🎮
⭐⭐⭐ – I can’t remember why this was recommended to me, I just remember it was. This was alright, I read it preparation for Banned Book Week.
Cold Shadows by J.L. Bryan ✌
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Creepy! Just what I wanted!! And I do think it was better than book 1, so I want to keep reading… of course book 3 isn’t available at my library NOR on KU… although book 4 and on is on KU *sigh* 99 cents… maybe I’ll break down and get it.

Okay, I thought I’d push through To Love a God 🍰 once my interest started to wain, but once the MMC sexually assaults the FMC, I’m done. I don’t care that this is dark nor that he is a god locked away, this is my line. So, I stopped at 34%.

»Currently Reading

No progress in Raise Hell ✌🍰 so, hopefully I’ll read that this week. I did start listening to Married with Zombies 🎧🐾 and it is pretty good so far. It almost lost me in the beginning, but it is getting better now that zombies are around haha.

General News

Books: So, lots of graphic novels! I was craving manga like no other last Sunday and kind of went on a book hangover. Then all I wanted were RH books annnnd I kind of pushed through a few others.
Reviews: Nothin’ but I’m cool with this. I’m still getting into the groove again. I might give myself the rest of the month off and start again in October.

Watched: erg I meant to start the new GBBO season, but got distracted… For date night we watched Polar which was… not great. I think after two lackluster weeks next week we will watch something we’ve already seen before.

Other: My fiance bought me a new laptop!! Technically it is for my birthday in October, but he let me open it early because my old one is so so slow and he wanted to make sure they put in all the things he wanted. HE MADE IT SO I CAN PLAY GAMES ON MY LAPTOP! My reading is going to be taking a D I V E. hahahaha
I’m back to playing Skyrim because… I don’t know why I didn’t want to start anything else. Oh, I also started playing Words With Friends 2 which is fun — I like word games, but I dislike all the guys trying to chat, like bro where do you honestly think this will go??? I just wanna play Scrabble!

Today

I’m totally going to play Skyrim for at least half the day hahaha. Reading hmmmm I’m kind of feeling Urban Fantasy or a Thriller. Something that fits the Autumn weather outside — slightly breezy, overcast sky, and multi-colored leaves falling to the ground. Something with a witch would be fun…
