Sunday post 9/6/2020

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blogs.

What a week for me… did I get much reading in? Not the kind I want. I’ve been having some health problems and reading hasn’t been happening how I want it to…

Corsets and Quartets

Corsets and Quartets is the first book I’ve DNF’ed in… quite a while. I had a good run! Anyhow, I stopped at 28% since I wasn’t into it.

»Currently Reading

Nothing… yeah, nothing. Not in a good way either, which is frustrating. I want to read, I just can’t concentrate UGH.

General News

Books:  Five from the TBR isn’t bad and I’m happy with that, especially since I’m all caught up on my library books ^_^

Reviews: Down to 109! Only 4 more to write up for June.

Watched: I’m stressed out and in pain, so I’m back to watching The Great British Bake Off on Netflix — The Beginnings now since I watched all the ones they have under the original heading. I missed Sue and Mel and Mary Berry. It is nice, relaxing, and lovely to look at.

Other: Can you believe that is all I was able to read when I took a few half days and had Friday off?? I can’t. I’m frustrated with being tired and the pain.

Today

Honestly? No idea. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to pick up a book today and be able to concentrate on it 😦 Therefore I can’t even think about what I’d want to read. If anything it will be like Ruby Dixon or something else that is silly and makes me feel good.

What are you doing on this lovely Sunday?

    1. Thanks! I ended up spending 6 hours in the hospital yesterday on testing and I’m finally getting better. Unfortunately still not up to making up blog posts, but I am reading again after a 3 day drought. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t read for that long….
