Last year I had quite a fun time with my holiday posts, so I thought I’d try that again this year. I’ve got a schedule made up and while I’m going to try posting every day, not every day will be a ‘Blogmas’ post– just a few a week.
Today, I want to share five Christmas-themed Romance books I want to read. While I’m not usually a holiday book reader, this year I’ve seen more of a change– or perhaps I’ve just found more fun-looking holiday books that have perked my interest.
So, let’s take a look!
Reindeer Falls series
Okay this might be cheating since I’ve already read 2 out of the 3 in the series, but I still haven’t read the last! Let me say though, that while I knew I’d want to read Christmas books in December, I had no idea what I’d want to read and was beginning to feel like I’d have to push myself into it. That is, until I saw The Boss Who Stole Christmas. It looked cute, fun, short, and sweet, so much so that waiting to start was difficult — hence why I’m 2 books into this series.
I’ll review the series soon, and spoiler — it is going to be a positive one!
A Choose Your Own Adventure with stereotypical Christmas movie tropes, disasters, and happy-endings. I haven’t read a CYOA in a long time (Visual Novels aside), so I’m rather excited to give this cute book a try! I’m hoping reading it will also get me in the mood to watch some Christmas movies! 😁
A nabbed this from Amazon and I’m so, so ready to start reading it. I might just do one story a day. LJ Shen & Helena Hunting, PENNY REID (!!!) & LH Cosway, Kennedy Ryan, and even a story by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy! I would have picked it up for even just two of these authors, but having all of these?!?! I’m pretty sure my fingers clicked purchase before my mind could catch up.
Speaking of Kennedy Ryan, I’m ready for the next Hoops book– did I wait to continue the series just so I could read this in December? ….maybe.
A fake fiance office romance taking place in New Zealand. She’s a mom trying to reinvent herself and he’s a director she accidentally sent a hot as hell e-mail about…to the whole office. This sounds like it will be a great read! There is also a New Years book in the series which I’m hoping to read for January 1st, buuuuttt that will come later 😉
While writing up this list I might have clicked on the Christmas book tag on Goodreads and went down a huge rabbit hole… Believe it or not, the above books were already on my TBR. These below are ones I found on my journey that caught my eye. Perhaps I won’t get to them this year, but there is next year!
- A Boyfriend for Christmas by Jay Northcote
- Shaking the Sleigh by Delancey Stewart
- Christmas Cliche by Tara Sivec
- Let it Snow by Heidi Cullinan
Will you be reading any holiday books?
