Silvia Reads Books did this tag a little bit ago and I thought it was a super fun idea!
The Rules:
- Randomly choose 3 books (Tip: use the ‘sort>random’ option on your Goodreads’ Read shelf)
- For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (a lot like Kiss, Marry, Kill)
- Repeat until you completed three rounds (or six)
Round 1
Burn: Easy, The Key is the only one on this list that I did not finish. I liked the idea, but I couldn’t finish it.
Rewrite: This is a little tougher, but let’s go with Beauty and the Highland Beast. This is a Beauty and the Beast re-telling, so I could rewrite it into a different rendition…even though this one was pretty good.
Reread: I don’t know how many times I’ve read Hana-Kimi. I have even watched the Japanese Drama of it and LOVED IT! This manga will always hold a spot in my heart.
Round 2
Burn: This is tough… I liked if not loved most of these. Therefore we will go with The Scorpio Races. I liked it the least and I know I’d never read it again.
Rewrite: How to Marry A Millionaire Vampire is a hilarious story and the series is pretty good, but there are parts of it I would probably rewrite to fit with how I like vampire lore– so not much would change 🙂
Reread: I absolutely loved Girl Mans Up. It features an amazing main character and side characters. This is a book I recommend others to read, so I wouldn’t change it at all.
*I’m also looking forward to hearing their interview with the librarians on the podcast Is It Teen Enough For You Now? because I really want to know what they talked about!*
Round 3
Burn: Life Swap was a very interesting book and one of the first I received from Netgalley, but I definitely had some problems with it.
Rewrite: Wow, now this is a definite hard one. I’m only picking this one because I haven’t read it since I was a teen and if I read it now I’d probably think it was overly dramatic…maybe. Mars. I laughed, I cried, I shouted at the books, and then I repeated the whole process when I watched the Taiwanese Drama. Truly an amazing series.
Reread: I enjoyed The Winner’s Curse and I’m not sure what I would change with it, also I’m sure I’ll eventually reread it some time in my life ^_^
This was fun! I had a hard time with some of the choices, but definitely different from the norm 🙂
I’m not sure who has done this tag, so I’m not tagging anyone, BUT feel free to play if you want to!
I enjoyed The Winners Curse but didn’t finish the series because I didn’t have the books at the time, but now that I do I feel like I need a reread to remember

Yeah, a lot does go on in those books 🙂 A reread is always a good reminder ^_^Then again, I tend to forget things so quickly so I have to reread things all the time haha

What’s the Hana Kimi-Jdrama called? I personally didn’t care for The Winner’s Curse. I think I’m the only person who has that opinion lol

Same full name: Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. It has one of my favorite Japanese actors, Ooguri Shun in it as well!!

I hope you like them! I think I gave Beauty and the Highland Beast like 3 stars, but I still want to read the sequel…if my library will ever get it haha.
How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire I thought was hilarious. One of the sequels takes place on a reality show too…. wow, I can’t remember why I stopped reading this series. lol, probably just lost track of it.
