Annie Fisher is scared. She’s scared of the mess her boyfriend, Max Parker, is in the middle of and she has to get out of his house. She puts a whole state between them and drives like a madwoman from Cooper, NY to her hometown of Catfish Cove, NH where she hopes she’ll be safe.

She decides to start a new life, a life she ran away from two years ago but is finding herself missing as soon as she gets home. Annie immediately has a place to live, a job at her Aunt Leona’s new café—Black Cat Café—and plenty of boyfriend prospects. Unfortunately, she also has plenty of bad things follow her.

Like Max Parker. Only the next time she sees him he’s dead. Suddenly everyone she runs into turns into a potential suspect. There are ghosts from her past and new neighbors that make her hair stand on end. And right in the middle of everything is Annie with Max’s last warning to her—Don’t trust anyone. Will those words prove to keep her safe or put too much distance between Annie and those trying to help her?

Olivia is a young widow. After 17 years of marriage she is dating again. She wondered how she would meet anyone, but now there are three men in her life, all diversely different and she likes them all. Her best friend, Julia is married, but is playing around on the internet. She said it was just for fun, but now she has become a victim. She risks it and tragedy and now must face the truth…

In March of 2002, while the eyes of the world focused on Afghanistan, Jack Noble finds himself on the outskirts of Baghdad, Iraq. A Marine in name only, Jack is on-loan to the CIA. Normally an integral part of the team, he finds that he is nothing more than a security detail in Iraq.

Jack and his partner Bear have a run-in with four CIA special agents over the treatment of an Iraqi family. Within hours Jack and Bear are detained.

All Jack wanted was to finish his enlistment and move on with his life. All he did was intervene and save a family from unwarranted violence at the hands of four CIA agents. But he soon discovers that he did far more than intervene. He has placed himself dead square in the middle of a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of the U.S. government.

Gabriel Morgan just wants to find his missing sister. All he has is his determination, the knowledge that she’s somewhere in New York City, and that she may be involved with a high-stakes street fighting ring known simply as the Organization.

Marcus Slade, one of the Organization’s leaders, wants money — and the young, strong, hot-tempered Gabriel looks like a sure bet. To ensure cooperation, Slade kidnaps the girl, then grabs Gabriel from the streets and gives him a choice: Fight, or watch his sister die.

Gabriel knows he doesn’t have a chance on the inside. But he won’t let them hurt Lillith, so for now he’ll play their game. In a world where he can’t afford to trust anyone, he’s about to learn that nothing is what it seems — and his only hope for survival might lie with the one man who’s most determined to break him.

Nancy Kerr refuses to be a victim—even when she walks in on her parents’ killers and is raped and left for dead…

Fourteen months later, Nancy wakes up in a psychiatric hospital with no knowledge of how she got there. Slowly, her memory starts to return. Released from the institution, she has just one thing on her mind—two men brought hell to her family home.

Now they’re in for some hell of their own…

Jesse needs a job after quickly washing out as a trucker, and Palm Court Detectives can provide the two things he wants more than anything right now—a chance for the occasional thrill and a close-knit team like the ones he always had in the military.

Yates could have picked a better first assignment than driving an 18-wheeler again to draw out hijackers, but he’s not the kind of guy who questions his marching orders. Devotion to duty and supreme confidence soon put the rookie private eye in the middle of a turf war between hijackers who he likes, outlaw bikers who like him (or what he can do for them) and a drug cartel renegade with a severe Jesse Yates problem.

He gets drawn into a toxic plot so fast and so deep that every move he makes is a crap shoot, based on pure instinct. When Yates finds himself once again at death’s door but this time deeply involved in a conspiracy with potential for massive civilian casualties, he’s going to have to make one more precise decision and fall back hard on his extreme training and lethal skills. But in this fight, for the first time, Jesse Yates is on his own.

Two governments-one objective, stop the spread of terrorism by any means possible. America and Israel, lifelong allies in an age-old war. To win this battle they will have to sell their souls. A mutilated body has been discovered; a body not meant to be found, but now that it has, Pandora’s box is open and secrets never to be learned have been revealed. An Israeli woman living in New York has been murdered. She has been raped and butchered; an outrage that ignites a fuse that burns all the way back to Tel Aviv.

Enter FBI Agent Chloe Mather, a hard-charging ex-Marine who has no sympathy for the kind of maggot who could commit such a violent atrocity. A veteran of the war in Afghanistan, she was one of the first woman Marines to be deployed into an active combat area. She struggles with PTSD and the consequences of a fatherless childhood, yet this is a woman who accepts no pity and operates according to a moral code that is second to none. She’ll stop at nothing to find the psychopath responsible for this unspeakable crime. In Secrets of the Kill, Mather and this code will face the ultimate test.

I’m falling.
Faster.
Further.
Deeper.
Sometimes you fall so hard you can’t get back up. My closest companions now are shame and loss. But a sliver of hope lies in the only person I have left in this world – the one who’s growing inside me.

Survival becomes living again because of my child, and the town where I begin anew. That’s where I meet the man who starts to melt the ice inside my heart.
As we get closer, reminders of my past become sharper. Clearer. To confront the pain, I have to discover what’s deep down inside me. Is there enough left there to become whole again, or am I too wounded to heal?

The polar vortex has grown stronger with every winter, ravaging northern cities, and forcing an evacuation of a major city until springtime. Firefighter Captain Jack Sellars and his men are contracted to protect the city with one mandate: don’t let the city burn down. With no power or gas, and all the citizens gone, what could possibly happen?

But when an SUV flips over on a snowy freeway with a body, an AK-47, and diamonds inside, Captain Sellars and crew have reason to be concerned. They stumble upon rival gangs of thieves and murderers looting the city and are cut off from communication, isolated in a frozen world. In the midst of a gang war, the city begins to burn.

The firefighters, dedicated to saving lives, have little choice but to take them, in a daily struggle to survive. For Captain Sellars, keeping his sanity and his men alive in a savage environment will require a miracle, and he’s running out of cigarettes.

In South-West England, a community is torn apart when a number of sinkholes open up and precious lives are lost. As the town mourn the loss of their loved ones from the earth’s gaping wounds, they are unaware that some have survived far beneath the surface, after an underground lagoon cushions their fall.

Below ground, the survivors find themselves in a spectacular cavern with no way out. Desperate to get dry from the perishing cold, they must find a way to make a fire, to keep warm until they are rescued.

Above ground, the army is unable to form a rescue team, fearing potential cave-ins. That’s when the wheels are set in motion to fill in the holes, so that they can rebuild the town and carry on.

As their subterranean world is sealed from above, a story of friendship and fortitude begins, as the survivors struggle to find heat, light, food and essential medical supplies. Using their wits and their natural instincts for survival, they recycle the resources that fall through the sinkholes with them; a tree, a bed, a pharmacy and a blue Mondeo.
